My first partner was a soccer player, and our dates would include watching football. He taught me so much about it, and to this day, I have a great and endearing love for the game.
I have always been a Spanish soccer fan, as I admire their passion and unrivalled style of play. There is something unique about the way in which Selección Española de Fútbol (SeFutbol) addresses the sport—unlike any other nation I’ve seen to date.
On a club level, I support Real Madrid and I never miss a match in all the leagues that they compete in.
When my home country won the bid to host the FIFA World Cup, I was beyond excited.
I attended all the home games and serendipitously, it was the year that Spain had won the trophy. As an avid supporter, to witness their phenomenal win is by far a life highlight.
